Whiter Than Snow - a short. Transparency post 🎁 Lately, the Lord has been walking me through some of the most painful and challenging places of my past, especially how childhood is still connected to all the things. I feel like I’ve been saying this for years now (lol), but this season has been different. My pain hasn’t been public; it’s been private, like most of us. Somewhere along the way, my gift of vulnerability God gave me became a burden. Fear of people’s opinions crept in. I stopped accepting myself, and I didn’t fully believe that God’s Word was enough to satisfy the deep desire to simply be enough. In response, my heart hardened. To my own humanity. To the humanity of others. That hardening became my self-protection. White as snow is a capturing of the layers the Lord has been stripping away, layers shaped by the world, ignorance, sin, the enemy, and humans who were broken and working out their own brokenness, including me. Around 2am, Holy Spirit came through with this fire and very serious message in my heart while I was in the kitchen.❤️‍🔥 I believe there is big call to all of us, especially to the creatives in the Christian community to stop playing and MOVE. And to move in a raw and authentic way where it might even be uncomfortable but it’s for the Lord. The more I read Genesis, the more I realize that perfection was never Gods original design for us, but progression and progress and leaning on Him always were/are. Chapter 32 ❣️ This year, God has shown me what life truly is when I surrender to Him in being the beautifullll orchestrator, and what it becomes when I go my own way. Someone once said, “The healthy fear of God is having such a holy reverence (respect,awe) for Him that you fear life without or away from Him.” I’m not gonna lie, surrendering to God does include suffering, but it’s a beautiful burden that makes you new, gives you purpose, an irreplaceable PEACE, and completely sets you free through Jesus. The Lord has been teaching me how to accept my own humanity & to embrace others. To truly do life with humans, & that will never go away. I will never be perfect but we are to strive to be more like Him. He loves us and commands us to love through His lens. This birthday/weekend was the best! I graduated from Discipleship Academy today after a little under a year in, and it was a perfect reminder that my life is bigger than me. I had self time & community. Thank you to every friend (family fr) who shared time with me, gave me my flowers in real time and who reached out with virtual flowers.❣️❣️ I’m so grateful and full, here is 32! The Lord is so kind and I’m excited to see what He does! A simple prayer to Him is all it takes to experience the unconditional love from Him that I can’t even put into words. Hii Humans! So earlier this week in my stories, I shared this full video about how I felt like God was using my struggles with my hair growing out & turning it into a whole message!🙂‍↕️ “What worked for you yesterday may not work for you today.” I’m transparently and vulnerably going to say that this is even slapping me as I type. 😭 Hiding my voice, opinions and messages behind my ig stories isn’t going to work anymore. Yes, it’s safer, ppl can’t harm me with their public words, I know that I will be disagreed with and disappoint people and this is a new space for me. AND God said, do it anyway, it’s not about you big dog. 🐶 (ouch) The more we (I) live out loud authentically and imperfectly, it makes space for the next person to do it as well. Especially learning how to not remove love while disagreeing. Anyway! I encourage you, no matter how small the first step is, whether that’s a new hair/day routine, a new music cleanse, doing things differently with building with the Lord and/or community, adjusting parent life, career, food choices, or just trying a new word out this week, try something different, Issa new day!! If we want something new we have to try new things. Byeeee. #message

Baybeee this @madisonryannward album really has the perfect title. “Purified Love”. Tbh I feel called to go back to Honest Living again! & This song is on repeat. Time to spend more time being present, going even deeper w/ God & the facing myself work has increased yet again, I started to care about the wrong things, so now it’s time to focus less about music, life results, ppls opinions and all the things. My brain hurts lol God gave me a clear sign, don’t go outside of what He has graced me for, sometimes we want things we ain’t even ready for😮‍💨 I’m hungry for true freedom in God in a honest human way.
