Most teenagers especially in our public schools do not have positive mentors to give them proper guidance on their transition to adulthood, thats a major gap Plan B Skills hopes to fill in our annual @planbsummer bootcamp, because we know they cant survive on academic or vocational skills alone
this is 2024 and the world is becoming increasingly complex, to survive you must know the basics of everything,
they need to learn basic life skills, like communication, self awareness and positivity, and then emergency preparedness skills like self defense, first aid, road safety knowledge and swimming;
Finally they must learn digital skills because as the world slowly progresses to the AI Era those who lack basic digital skills now are potential neo illiterates,
and while some might argue they might not necessarily need all of those skills eventually; the real train of thought here is what do they have to lose? Isn't it better they have all of it and not need it than need any of it and not have it?
