From Line to Loom. A hand moves over paper, relentlessly. Lines interlock and unfold. Bodies appear, then vanish. Stone and tree, sun and moon, human, animal, and hybrid creatures. أول ما يستوقفنا في "سطور" هو العنوان يقدّم سمير الصايغ خطًا جديدًا، يمزج بين الخطوط الرقيقة، البناء الهندسي، زواياه المائلة الحاسمة، وضربات فرشاته التي تكاد ترتفع عن الصفحة. The first thing that strikes us in Sutoor is the title. Samir Sayegh presents a new script, blending delicate lines, geometric structure, his signature decisive diagonals, and brush strokes that seem to lift off the page.
