Thanks for the short visit and the great conversations. Remember, it’s a nice truck but your wife is always right. Lol. True story. Have a safe one back.
Reba,
You are the sweetest part of my life. You make ordinary days feel warm, steady, and full of love. Your smile, your heart, and the way you carry yourself make me grateful for you every single day. You’re beautiful in all the ways that matter most, and being loved by you is one of the best things that’s ever happened to me.
I love the life we’re building together, and I love you more than words ever seem to say.
I never had a damn thing easy. But I had it easy making friends. My family was hard on me but my shell was always tough. Grew up poor. So I still feel poor. Let’s make the world better one day at a time. #love #personalgrowthanddevelopment #beingarealman
A nice push through the trees and into the pens. Still a few left up there but they’re coming down in small groups. Fall is here and winter is coming. Love my life.
@nacochris is a one of the nicest souls around. You can barely imagine his face when it’s not smiling. I’ve never seen it. He works hard he makes others feel welcome and his hair is long and beautiful. Keep the journey going my friend.
@alliac.37@malary.thorsby these two gals could find trouble in a library. 📚 they did alright considering the circumstances. Those shirts didn’t stay white for long.
Durango’s own Hannah Belvin lit up the arena with another breathtaking barrel racing run. From the gate to the final turn, she and her horse moved in perfect sync—muscles taut, spirits fierce—chipping mere fractions off the clock as the crowd rose on its toes.
There’s no question: Hannah’s heart‑and‑horse duo is pure poetry in motion, marking her as one to watch in the local rodeo circuit. The dust has settled, but the adrenaline still crackles.

I woke up this morning to the smell of smoke in the air and the distant glow of flames lighting up the Animas Valley. Yesterday afternoon, precisely around 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 26, 2025, a house in the Elkhorn subdivision, north of Durango, caught fire and quickly spread into the surrounding vegetation, igniting what is now being called the Elkhorn Fire. #elkhornfire
From my vantage point on Missionary Ridge, I could watch air tankers and helicopters diving through plumes of smoke, dropping water and retardant to curb the blaze. Ground crews deployed hand tools and heavy equipment to build containment lines. As of yesterday evening, the fire had grown to roughly 145 acres—a size that remained steady overnight—but it was still actively burning north of Highway 550, near Celadon. @durango_herald
Wishing @tecovas would post the photos or send me the footage of the hours they took of my wife. @reba.lynnnn that was a good a day and she didn’t even really want to do it. It took a lot of convincing to get her to share her story with yall and here we are over a year later with nothing.
