Winter gear rentals are now in at the Bicycle Garden, all available by donation! Whether you're heading out of town or just hitting the Nestawaya River Trail, XC skis, snowshoes and kicksleds are all ready for your next snowy adventure!

We’re around but taking a holiday. If you’d like to rent skis / other winter equipment over the holidays we’re willing to give Saturdays a few hours on request. If you DM us we’ll take it from there. Check out winterpeg.org for free events popping up near you!

Yes! Winter is here, and we are still open during our regular hours!
In previous years we have reduced hours or taken, er, an "extended Christmas vacation", but this year we are striving to maintain our regular hours. We're still open Wed-Sat, 12:00-6:00! Come see us for your bike needs, skate sharpening, or ski waxing!
You only really need one thing to get your Plain Bicycle ready for winter - and that's studded tires. We've got 'em in the shop in 20", 26", 700c and 700b!
Rode XC ski wax and trail tools are now available in the shop!
Brushes, scrapers, kits, corks, klister and wax for +1°C to -30°C!
We also do glide waxing in house, have the skate sharpener ready to go, and winter gear rentals will be here before you know it! ❄️❄️❄️
