SIDELINED - Silent Voices of Siberia Link zum ganzen Film ist in der Bio. Ich freue mich unglaublich nach langer Zeit des Machens und Wartens meinen ersten Dokumentarfilm zu veröffentlichen. Der Film wurde vom Artdocfest 2026 in der Online-Sektion ausgewählt. Damit ist ein großer Wunsch von mir in Erfüllung gegangen. 3 Monate war ich 2021 in Russland und habe so spannende herzliche Leute getroffen und schöne Orte besucht. Nach und nach haben mir die Menschen unterschiedlichste Wahrheiten von ihrem Land erzählt und ich habe versucht dieses Spektrum an Perspektiven und die daraus entstehenden Konflikte in meinem Film darzustellen. Over the last two years I was able to witness his unstoppable energy as musician and DJ, creating projects like @hidden_paradise_ct and bringing fresh winds into the industry from Cape Town to Hamburg. Coming from a another community of musical approaches he makes a great impact on current ways to perform and host events. Our conversations always leave me fascinated and with new ideas. Hands off Shark Island | Berlin 2026
 Yesterday at 12 AM several collectives protested in front of the Federal Foreign Office and Humboldt Forum against the current negotiations between Germany and Namibia to avoid reparations and legal recognition of the genocide against the Ovaherero, Nama, Damara and San between 1904 and 1908 by the German Empire. Furthermore this strategy is supposed to serve geopolitical interests of the German government without including representatives of affected communities. 

Activists claim that German companies such as Enertrag are currently trying to transform several regions to build hydrogen production sites with the support of the German government. Regions that were stolen from the Nama during the course of the genocide and colonial land dispossession. 

Additionally Shark Island is supposed to be further embedded in economic trade systems and transformed into a larger harbour to enable shipping routes into the Global North. The peninsula on the coast of present-day Namibia was once a site of this genocide. It is estimated that 4000 Ovaherero and Nama lost their lives in the concentration camp located on the island. 

Until today the German government continues to reject recognition of this genocide legally under international law.

Today Shark Island is a place of remembrance, grief and resistance, threatened to be destroyed out of economical interests.

Today at 9 AM, protesters from several collectives gathered in front of the CDU national headquarters to protest against the latest decision by the European Parliament regarding further regulations of deportation laws. The CDU, as part of the conservative faction (EPP), formed a parliamentary majority together with the far-right faction (ESN), including the AfD, resulting in the approval of further tightening measures in national and transnational migration policy. Despite previous statements by the party not to collaborate with the AfD and to limit its political influence, there have been frequent joint decisions in recent months.
