Well this thing has been consuming the majority of my free time over the past few months. I’m happy to be in a place where I can finally take a step back and admire my work a little bit.
Every single wear item in the chassis, suspension and steering has been refurbished or replaced and repainted.
I’m sure I’ll never be truly “done” with this project but I’m really proud of how everything has turned out and how it all performs.
Well, it’s been a big few weeks in my world of cars. I listed the white OJ Bronco for what I thought was an astronomical price - thinking it probably wouldn’t sell and I could continue to enjoy it. To my surprise, it sold very quickly for a substantial amount MORE than my original asking price.
Unfortunately I only made it about 45 minutes before I decided I needed to buy another Bronco to fill the 4x4 void.
I traded in the Maverick and ended up with this ‘23 2 Door Big Bend Bronco. It’s a pretty basic 7 speed manual and came as a perfect blank canvas to make my own.
So far, it’s gotten the @kingshocks treatment along with some 35” BFG tres and a fresh set of method wheels.
This thing is super fun so far and I’m looking forward to continue to tinker with it and take it on some fun trips this summer.
Well here she is. After a very long four months, I finally got my Bronco back from paint. I’m very pleased with how it turned out. Excited for the trips and adventures this thing will take me on.
