Roadtrip 2025 booked! Starting in mid July, Franny and I will be embarking on an adventure to Marfa, TX., Santa Fe, NM., Flagstaff, AZ., Las Vegas, NV., Lake Tahoe, CA. (all of August) and finally Portland, OR. to celebrate my buddy @mustachethomasross ’s marriage. No idea the route back home to Austin, so please send suggestions, and as always, let me know if our paths cross. We’d love to meet up.
In January, I visited a fur farm in my home state of Ohio about an hour from where I grew up. The only reason I got to walk onto that property was because the owner died over the holidays and the county needed our help. What I saw, smelled and heard will be with me for my entire life. Towards the end of the day, I randomly picked two foxes to be sent to a wildlife sanctuary, hence the empty cage. That evening I received the video of them playing.
Franny and I are hitting the road again this August to avoid the Texas heat and explore the Rockies. Like last year, we want to see as many friends and meet as many strangers as possible, so let us know when and where, and we’ll try to be there.

Proud to represent @humanesociety in this year’s @glossyco 50 as one of the top change makers who shaped fashion in 2023. There’s still much to do to convince consumers and the fashion industry at large to recognize our impact on animals used for apparel, but we’re heading in the right direction thanks to innovation and meaningful policy reform spearheaded by the amazing @hestewart87 . I had the great honor of being interviewed by world-renowned fashion photographer, @alexilubomirski , for his Face to Face YouTube series. Alexi’s @creatives4change initiative has persuaded some of the biggest names in fashion and entertainment to take a stand against cruelty in fashion by focusing on compassion and empathy. He does some truly amazing things to make this world a better place, and I’m proud to call him a friend.
