Thank you so much for your continued support of Pizza Marumo.
We have had many inquiries regarding reservations so I would like to take this opportunity to explain our booking system.
We begin taking reservations 2 months in advance at 12:00 through our online reservation system Table Check.
I apologize for the inconvenience, but we are unable to respond to reservation requests through email or Instagram DM. If seats are fully booked online then unfortunately it means that there are no seats available.
We appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing you soon.

Our May special pizza combines fresh, seasonal horse mackerel with the crisp texture of okahijiki and a subtle kick from green chili. Fragrant shiso and myoga add a refreshing, aromatic finish.

This month's special pizza combines the umami of the sea and the gentle bitterness of the mountains on a single pizza🍕
Mozzarella, Firefly squid, Japanese butterbur, Udo Kinpira, Garlic chives, dried tomatoes and citrus zest
海の旨みと山のほろ苦さを一枚に。
ホタルイカとふきのとうをアンチョビで香ばしくソテーし、ほのかな辛みのうどのきんぴら、芳醇な香りの黄ニラ、そして瑞々しいうるいを重ねました。
仕上げに散らした柑橘のピールが全体をやさしくまとめ、春の訪れを感じさせる一枚に仕立てています。
合わせるワインはサンジョベーゼ100%のロゼ。
海や山の旨味に、ほのかなタンニンとしっかりした酸を持つドライなワインで合わせました。ふきのとうの苦味をポジティブに楽しめるペアリングです。
𝙏𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙮𝙖𝙠𝙞 𝘽𝙤𝙮𝙨 -テリヤキボーイズ-
昆布と鰹から丁寧に引いた出汁を使ったテリヤキソースは、シェフが10代の頃に和食の親方から受け継いだ大切なレシピ。 そのテリヤキソースをベースに、山椒の香りをまとわせた地鶏のサルシッチャを合わせ、仕上げに京都の黒七味をアクセントとして添えています。自家製マヨコーンソースのやさしい甘みが、山椒や黒七味の香りを引き立てる当店ならではのテリヤキチキンピザに仕上げました。
想像するテリヤキチキンピザとは一味違う、奥行きのある味わいをお楽しみください。
Our teriyaki sauce is made from scratch using kombu seaweed and bonito flakes, following a cherished recipe the chef learned from his mentor in his teenage years.
We use this sauce as the base for our teriyaki chicken pizza, topped with juicy Japanese chicken sausage gently flavored with sansho pepper, a fragrant Japanese spice similar to citrusy pepper.
A touch of Kyoto-style black shichimi adds a subtle kick, while our homemade mayo-corn sauce brings a mild sweetness that balances the spice and aroma.
This is a teriyaki chicken pizza with deeper, more complex flavors than you might expect.
Pizza Marumo in Ebisu is a pizzeria that’s earned global recognition - in Time Out’s 2026 list of the World’s Best Pizza, Marumo placed No. 5 out of 19 pizzerias worldwide.
Chef Yuki Motokura has also been ranked No. 14 among the world’s top pizza chefs by The Best Pizza Awards.
We tried three of their standout pizzas:
• Margherita — classic simplicity with beautifully fermented dough.
• Japanese Umami — shiitake cream, mozzarella, pecorino, mackerel, bonito flakes, kombu, green onion, sesame & soy — a distinctly Japanese take on pizza.
• Red Hot Chili — spicy, smoky, and perfectly balanced.
And finished with a Basque-inspired dessert that brought a gentle sweetness to close the meal.
Celebrated locally and internationally, this feels like Tokyo pizza at its most creative and refined.

伝統的なフランスの家庭料理「ナヴァラン」をモチーフにした、当店オリジナルのピザ。
モッツァレラとペコリーノ、2種のチーズを使ったコクのあるチーズベースに、 仔羊の肩肉とカブをじっくり煮込んだナヴァラン風ラグーを主役としてトッピングしました。
いんげんはサクッとした食感のアクセントに、 紫キャベツのクミンマリネがほどよい酸味と香りを添えます。 添えているハリッサは仔羊との相性が抜群な唐辛子のペーストですので、味わいの変化もお楽しみいただけます。
Our original pizza inspired by Navarin, a traditional French home-style stew.
A mozzarella and pecorino cheese base topped with slow-braised lamb shoulder and turnips, finished with crisp green beans and cumin-marinated red cabbage.
Harissa chili paste is served on the side, perfectly complementing the lamb and adding an optional spicy kick.

𝙐𝙣𝙣𝙤 𝘽𝙧𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙨 -シラスとカラスミ大根-
駿河湾の西側、静岡・用宗港。
この小さな港から届く“日本一”と称されるシラスを使った一枚です。
シラスを届けてくれるのは、漁師の海野さん兄弟。
港に水揚げされたシラスが、鮮度そのままに釜揚げシラスへと仕上がっていく様子を、丁寧な説明とともに見学させていただきました。
やさしい味わいの大根ピューレをベースに、仕上げに辛味大根を粗くおろし、シラスの甘みを引き立てます。
カラスミの濃厚な旨味と、九州・有明海産「香味干し」の香り高い海苔を添え、焼き上げたすべての素材をイタリア産オリーブオイルがひとつにまとめます。
海の恵みと人の手仕事を感じる、特別なピザです。
Located on the western side of Suruga Bay, Mochimune Port in Shizuoka is a small harbor known for producing some of Japan’s finest shirasu.
This pizza features shirasu delivered directly by local fishermen, the Umino brothers, and prepared at peak freshness.
A gently seasoned daikon purée forms the base, finished with freshly grated spicy daikon to highlight the natural sweetness of the shirasu.
Rich bottarga and aromatic kōmi-boshi nori from the Ariake Sea add depth, while Italian olive oil brings all the flavors together.
A pizza that reflects the bounty of the sea and the craftsmanship behind it.
Best meal of our trip!!!!!!
Saddest part of the meal was not being able to try more pizzas!! 😆😆 Highly recommend booking a spot by the counter.

トマトソースとモッツァレラをベースに、辛口サラミと、旨味・辛味・コクが特徴の国産豚のンドゥイヤを使用。
さらに、大葉・穂紫蘇・赤紫蘇の新芽、3種のシソを組み合わせ、ピザの定番「ディアボロ」をマルモらしく、和の食材でアレンジしました。
シソの香りを生かすため辛味はやや控えめですが、辛いもの好きの方にもぜひ召し上がっていただきたい一枚です。
Built on a base of tomato sauce and mozzarella, this pizza features spicy salami and ’nduja made from premium Japanese pork, known for its deep umami, gentle heat, and rich flavor.
We finish it with three varieties of shiso — green shiso leaves, shiso flower buds, and young red shiso shoots — adding a distinctly Japanese twist to the classic Diavolo pizza, Marumo-style.
To highlight the delicate aroma of the shiso, the spice level is kept moderate, but it’s a must-try for anyone who loves a touch of heat.
