Deja Vu was written on a walk of shame. To me it is birdsong and pavement and road noise and humanness and excitement and embarrassment and sunrise.
It was envisioned and written in shame in my garage at 7am. That vision came to life in Joel Potts studio, where he and I breathed optimism and fun into it! (I cannot verbalise how much fun it was working with Joel)
This song is intensely human, in creation and product. I had the extreme pleasure to work with Joel Pott who painstakingly humanised every single aspect of the song. Every snare, every synth, every note, played by one of us.
This song is my baby and I love it so so much. Thank you for being here thank you for listening thank you for understanding and loving it as much as i do đź’ś
