Remember when we said we’re cooking on something? Well - the pot is boiling, and we need to move fast. pixel.forest() probably found a new space in Berlin. 200m² of creative infrastructure for artists working at the intersection of code, sound, light, and everything in between. Fixed co-working desks in a proper community space, built by and for people who make things that don’t fit into normal categories. 380€/month per desk with 24/7 access. You’ll work alongside: - TouchDesigner + vvvv practitioners - Audiovisual artists - Creative coders - Experimental media artists Access to: → Meeting room with projection setup → Tech lab + workbench → Fast Wi-Fi + printer → Kitchen → Event hosting discounts Here’s where we need your help: we have to confirm the space by May 15th, and we need 15 people on board to make it real. So if this speaks to you, please reach out by April 28th. The sooner we know, the sooner we can start building this together. Berlin is full of incredible artists working alone in their apartments on things nobody has seen yet. We want to put them in the same room. Not just to share desks, but to share ideas, host things together, and build the kind of creative community that actually means something. If that’s you, or someone you know - we’d love to hear from you. DM us or write to [email protected] for pictures, details, and to lock in your spot. 💚🌱 . #pixelforestberlin #coworkingberlin #creativecoding #newmediaart #touchdesigner

Join us for Dispatch vol.2 at our space this Friday 27th March. Presenting Ploypapus Phosri aka Ployz Ployz is a multimedia artist, based in Berlin. Ployz is creating work that is both visually captivating and thought-provoking. Her work merges generative processes, interactivity, and digital aesthetics. Active on a global scale and cross-cultural collaborations, she’s continually exploring how technology can reshape artistic experiences and the future of creative expression. Ployz presents an ongoing experimental journey into the synergy of visuals and sound in @touchdesigner . After years of intensive music exploration as a listener, she has transitioned into a creative practice where visuals and data serve as the primary drivers for audio. The practice highlights a multi-method approach to sound control, mapping diverse data streams to Bitwig to explore how various inputs, such as ZIG SIM, dynamic simulations, and tracking data, alter the sonic outcome. This session showcases how shifting the method of interaction allows for a more nuanced and unpredictable relationship between the data input and the audio output. @plyzitron 📍 March 27 Doors: 6pm Program: 7pm Entry is donation-based. Join us for Dispatch vol.2 at our space this Friday 27th March. Presenting Anna Dießner Anna is a German multidisciplinary designer and creative practitioner. She completed her MA in Interaction Design at UAL where she developed projects that engage audiences in thought-provoking ways while exploring the intersection of technology, design and society through installations and artefacts. Her work has been exhibited during London Craft Week, at Ars Electronica, Kunsthalle Duesseldorf and Science Gallery London, reflecting her interest in speculative design as well as creating digital and physical experiences to challenge perception. Anna’s installation, Channel:me, explores the performative construction of identity in the sense of Judith Butler’s concept of performativity: the self is not understood as something fixed, but emerges continuously through actions, gestures, and social interactions. The project functions as a metaphor for the fragmented and media-shaped self-perception of the digital age: an in-between space in which the self is simultaneously actor, observer, and image. @annadiessner 📍 March 27 Doors: 6pm Program: 7pm Entry is donation-based. Join us for Dispatch vol.2 at our space this Friday 27th March. Presenting Tiziano Mirabella Based in Berlin by way of Rome, Tiziano is a multidisciplinary artist and founder of Luce Studio who specializes in merging architectural precision with light design and real-time visuals. For his installation at Else Club Berlin, he has created a kinetic lighting system designed to complement the venue’s industrial aesthetic during both day and night events. The centerpiece of the installation features custom-made 3-meter perforated steel tubes, each housing circular COB RGB LED strips. To achieve a seamless, dynamic movement, Tiziano engineered these tubes to be mounted on rotator motors using a touchless contact system for power delivery. Every element was custom-built to ensure the installation functions as a cohesive, raw, and immersive extension of the club’s existing structure. / @tiziano.mirabella 📍 March 27 Doors: 6pm Program: 7pm Entry is donation-based. Join us for Dispatch vol.2 at our space this Friday 27th March. Presenting Dylan Cruz (memocrime) Memocrime is an interactive audio-visual artist who pushes the boundaries of human interaction, utilizing sound, light, touch, and smell to dissolve the line between audience and participant. His distinctive approach to emerging technologies and deep collaborative drive allows him to bridge disparate artistic movements within our rapidly evolving, information-saturated landscape. In his upcoming presentation, Memocrime will delve into the concept of chaos as a fundamental tool for creating new media art. He will explore his creative process for building tools that harness sensory overload, presenting familiar scenes through a thick layer of “chaotic fog.” From the technical nuances of implementation to an honest look at the challenges of containing chaos as a form of expression, he shares how a landscape of endless disorder can be transformed into a powerful force for design. @memocrime 📍 March 27 Doors: 6pm Program: 7pm Entry is donation-based.
