[ THE SEARCH FOR MAGIC ] A cinematic cosplay photography set to kick off the week. There was a line from “Frieren: Beyond Journeys End” that really resonated with me. It was “The greatest joy in magic lies in searching for it.” That, there is beauty and appreciation in the journey of discovery. The end result is nice, but even that is fleeting. Haven’t you felt the excitement when you learn a new technique or add a new skill to your tool kit. As a photographer, the moments that stand out are those when I stumbled upon that new skill. The moments where I discover something new about light or figure out a new way to compose a scene. I feel the excitement as my brain unlocks a new area to explore. Is the journey of discovery always easy? Heck no.
