After 7 years being single, I’m in utter disbelief that I am in a relationship. From an Instagram DM at that. WTF?! I was gonna write a long ass emotional post but I don’t feel like it. For the longest time, I thought something was wrong with me because I never felt that kind of attachment to work or traditional success. The only thing I’ve ever truly wanted was freedom. I remember being 16 years old saying I had no desire to work, and honestly, I still feel that way. Not because I don’t value hard work, but because I never wanted my life to revolve around a job title. I wanted a life filled with adventure, curiosity, wanderlust, and experiences that made me feel alive. Somehow, through a mix of courage, faith, and a little chaos, I’ve managed to build a life that reflects that desire. A life that feels authentic to me and I’m grateful I trusted myself to pursue life on my own terms.
