What a night! We were delighted to host our 4th Women in Property event this week.
The evening kicked off with a lively, engaging panel discussion, where we asked some difficult questions, including whether there is still a place for female-only events and whether more inclusive events are the way forward, we debated the phrase “male allies”, with some fascinating insights from the audience.
We asked guests to share their views, with 67% agreeing that female-only events are both empowering and exclusionary (30% believe they are simply empowering). The room was full of housebuilders, brokers, property professionals and media, who all appeared to be in agreement when it came to making sure men are part of the conversation and that the more we test, the more we learn, and the more we grow.
We were also lucky enough to be joined by the fabulous and highly knowledgeable wine expert @amelias_wine who brought some delicious wines for us to sample and discuss, this was such an entertaining and enjoyable part of the evening.
We would like to say thank you to everyone who joined us for this event, we loved hearing the conversations taking place around the room and the connections being made.
