It has been 466 days of Genocide. 466 days of relentless bombing, destruction, killing of innocents, annihilation of all systems that are needed for life to be sustained.
Every day I have watched mangled bodies on my phone. Watched as parents cried and carried their clearly dead children to the hospital in the hopes they may survive. I have seen doctors holding the brains of a child that had just fallen out of their skull. I have seen photos of bodies that had been squished by tanks. I have seen numerous photos of dead children. They look so peaceful in their death. A single bullet wound in the centre of their forehead. What was the future that was robbed of this child simply for being born a Palestinian?
I have also seen the resilience of the Palestinian people. I have seen civil defence crews claw at the debris with their bare hands to rescue people trapped under the rubble. I have seen people cook and feed hundreds of starving people so they may live. I have seen journalists continue to document these atrocities even though it is clear no Western media outlet even cares what they say. I have seen hundreds of thousands of people around the world stand up in solidarity with the Palestinian people. Not because they know them, but because they are human. When the world is trying to erase the Palestinian people, they defiantly say “We are all Palestinian!".
As Jodi Dean says “we are all Palestinian” is a slogan that really terrifies imperialists. This solidarity “rejects fragmentation” and recognises the anti-imperialist movement as “an effect of the Palestinian cause”.
Therefore, I have named this linocut print “We are all Palestinian”.
This is a hand printed two block reduction linocut with a limited edition of 11.

FROM THE RIVER TO THE SEA, PALESTINE WILL BE FREE!
Over the past 6 months I have been struggling as I've watched a Genocide being committed towards the Palestinian people while world leaders not only ignore the ongoing atrocities and war crimes, but actively aide and abet it. They are complicit in this Genocide. Where is your humanity? Where is your morality?
I am angry. I am sad. I am devastated. I have no more words to express how I feel. Now I just watch in silent horror.
With this said, I have felt the enormous support and push from the people to make this stop. The power and community it has generated gives me hope and energy. Every week for 6 months I am surrounded by like-minded people who are fighting for justice. This community knows that all our struggles are linked. Palestinian justice is justice for all. It is social justice, climate justice, medical justice, indigenous justice, racial justice, women's justice, anti-colonial, anti- imperial, anti-empire etc. For we know that none of us are free until Palestine is free.
With this ongoing Genocide, I have found it very difficult to focus on my artistic practice. To counter this I have made this monoprint 'Free Palestine' (2024) and I have auctioned it off for charity. Thank you Gemma for donating to a GoFundMe to get Dr Youssef Ashour's family (including his newborn baby) out of Gaza while he plans to stay and continue to treat his patients. Healthcare is something that is close to my heart and I am in awe of those healthcare practitioners who stay to treat their patients while they risk losing their lives.
I plan on making more art to be auctioned off for charity. It feels like it's the least I can do. If this seems like something you're interested in purchasing, I am collecting expressions of interest to make a linocut print of something similar. All proceeds will be donated to Palestinian charities.
From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.
