How Google would describe it : Pittonkatonk 2026 is a free, two-day grassroots music festival and potluck party in Pittsburgh, in Schenley Park. The event, which expanded to two days, brings together brass bands, cumbia, hip-hop, and social justice activism, offering local food, drinks, and a community-focused atmosphere.
HOWEVER it was so so so sooo much more than that. It was a higher frequency that we collectively tapped in together. It was parts of pure adrenaline and having no idea where we were all running (rookie), it was authentic grass root, it was social justice activism, it was an amazing community, it was the incredible Yeison Landero from Columbia,
@puuluupband with an amazing set that had us all playing snake π , it was
@undertowbrassband that blew my mind once we had ran to the secret location, then enthused me to join the mosh Pitt [yeah you read that right, I mosheddd & it was epic], and thennn my soul got set on fire in a collective frequency with brass and vocals with every single person tapped in. Iβve never experienced anything like that, let alone in Pittsburgh. Highly recommend! I canβt remember the last time I was that full of pure authentic joy within myself but also feeling completely connected, to the oneness of it all. We made a frequency and Iβll ever forget that.
