Looking back at the past Pitstop Community Duathlon, one thing that stands out is that beyond the race day excitement, there was a lot of hard work, sacrifice and preparation behind the scenes to make the event a success.
From the early planning meetings to setting up the routes, coordinating logistics, ensuring safety measures were in place and managing participants across different categories, countless hours went into making sure the event was smooth, safe and well organised for everyone involved.
A huge appreciation goes to all the officials, volunteers, marshals, medical teams, coordinators and crew members who worked tirelessly before and during the event. While many people saw the energy and excitement on race day, these individuals were working quietly in the background to ensure everything ran seamlessly. Their dedication and commitment made the event possible.

Pitstop Community Duathlon was nothing short of electrifying. From start to finish, the atmosphere was filled with energy, excitement and passion as athletes, supporters and spectators all came together to celebrate fitness, sports and community spirit in Lagos.
The turnout was massive, with people from all walks of life showing up to participate and cheer on the competitors.
The event created a platform where everyone could compete, connect and push beyond their limits. It was inspiring seeing young people actively involved, families coming out to support and communities rallying behind the athletes. The energy throughout the event was simply contagious.
