Endurance is important for drivers for a few reasons: • Making better decisions by keeping heart rate and adrenaline under control. • Sustaining high performance driving and pushing the car to its limits for long stints. • Recovering and minimising residual fatigue between consecutive races, really important across race weekends. • Thermoregulation when racing in hot countries. The gold standard measurement for aerobic performance is a VO2max + blood lactate test in the lab. For practical reasons, we at Pinnacle measure aerobic performance via the Watt Bike Max RAMP Test. We’ve historically measured aerobic performance via the 2KM Row time-trial but overtime found pacing to have a huge effect on test results. Row too fast, you blow the test. Too slow, you don’t achieve a true max reading. Pacing therefore compromises the reliability of the test. The Watt Bike Max Ramp Test involves incrementally increasing the wattage after every minute. The rider starts at an easy stage, increases the wattage every minute, and pedals until they are unable to complete the stage. The test ends when the rider can no longer sustain the target watts for the full-minute. In short, the Watt Bike Ramp Test does the pacing FOR you. This removes the noise that comes with pacing, and simply allows the rider to focus on delivering a max out effort on the bike. This in turn provides a more reliable measurement of max aerobic performance. Endurance is essential to maintain the high physical and mental demands required to handle a vehicle pushed to its absolute limits over long durations. While strength is important, endurance ensures a driver can stay competitive through changing track conditions and gruelling physical stress without making costly errors. #pinnacleperformancehk #motorsport

Key highlights from motorsport 2026 so far: 1. We’ve successfully transitioned our motorsport neck testing protocol from the “Make Test” to the “Break Test”. 2. @w2c2 and @kysmoothie have invested a huge amount of time refining basic movement skills since November last year, and we’re now seeing exponential gains in strength. This is a huge testament to their consistency. We’ve also spent this off-season building a ton of work capacity through high volume, muscle endurance work. 3. Our remote motorsport off-season program has been a huge success for @louisprette_ Based on our latest profiling data, we’ve not only maintained, but increased most of our physical KPIs. This was in part thanks to our collaborators in Monaco. 4. We’ve got some up and coming young talent on our radar, and we’re looking forward to help provide them with the foundations and physical competencies to excel in motorsport. Needless to say, we’ve had a productive off-season. Excited to see how everyone gets on for 2026. When the lights go out, only one thing matters. #pinnacleperformancehk #motorsport

2025 for @louisprette_ was mega for a few reasons. Not only have we managed to return his knee to full braking function for Spa 24H, we’ve also successfully maintained max force qualities throughout the year despite the injury. No IMTP testing was done in June due to left ACL injury. While end-of-season profiling showed no change in peak force, it’s worth noting that we’ve managed to rebuild leg strength to pre-injury levels. Key points: • Lack of change in numbers ≠ lack of progress. • Data without context = incomplete information. Basing our conclusions on IMTP numbers alone would’ve simply suggest that the athlete was not getting stronger. Yet when we factored in injury and circumstance, a more likely conclusion is that the athlete has indeed gotten stronger and rebuilt leg strength to pre-injury baseline levels, a crucial step towards successful rehab. This highlights the importance of data + context when analyzing, inteprating, and reviewing training and performance. #pinnacleperformancehk #motorsport
