Fun fact: I wrote this entire manuscript on my phone- and it took a lot of effort, patience, and grace to bring it to life.
Almost 40 is a story of resilience, girl power, adulthood, and everything in between. It follows the journey of Folake, a woman on the verge of turning 40, battling the fear of not being married or having children - insecurities deeply triggered by a mother who constantly belittled her.
This story is raw, honest, and deeply relatable for anyone navigating expectations, identity, and self-worth.
If you’ve ever questioned your timeline or felt like you’re falling behind, this book is for you.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve always dreamt of writing movies — not just stories, but full-length films that people can watch, feel, and connect with.
And with Easter Miracle, that dream finally came through.
Seeing something that once lived only in my imagination come alive on screen is deeply personal and incredibly fulfilling.

In the year 2022, I wrote a short story to be part of an anthology, sadly was rejected, but when I saw the opportunity to apply for the Canopus Award For Excellence In Interstellar Writing, I doubted first, thinking it won't be good enough. So I gathered the courage, applied, and later it was selected, making me one of the finalists for the Award in 2023. I didn't win, but it was a great achievement for me.

As 2025 comes to an end, I find myself reflecting on one of the most important lessons I learned this year.
Earlier on, I once sought advice on writing tips and how to land screenplay writing jobs. The response I got was simple but discouraging: If you want to be a real screenplay writer, you must have a good laptop. Don’t use your phone. At the time, I didn’t have a laptop, and the old one I owned was already spoiled.
Instead of waiting, I used what I had.
With just my phone, I wrote consistently. With my phone, I completed a manuscript that was published today and is now available on Amazon:

With the same phone, I wrote multiple film scripts this year. You can even watch a series I co-wrote on YouTube here:

Now that I finally have a computer, I still find myself preferring my phone for most of my writing. I only turn to my computer when it’s time to edit.
This year taught me a powerful lesson: don’t wait for the “right” tools, the big break, or perfect conditions. Start with what you have. What you have is enough to begin, and beginning is what changes everything.
