We condemn the continuing violence inflicted on the Palestinian people by the state of Israel. We urge you to write to your local council or MP and express your disgust at these appalling human rights abuses. Over 6000 bombs have been dropped on Gaza, a densely packed population of 2 million people, living in a city the size of Canberra. 5,700 Palestinians have already been killed.
We also urge you to attend the weekly rallies until our political leaders cannot ignore this humanitarian tragedy.
This is our gentle invitation for our beautiful community to join our fourth workshop, The Colours of Fate, and embrace the sense of spirituality that we may have missed or long to reminisce about. Our lovely facilitator, Dinithi is a queer, Sri Lankan artist, Gardner and herbalist in training. Their work is an exploration of sacred object and ritual with a focus on nurturing practices of devotion to the more than human world. Using plants as conduit, Dinithis workshops are an exploration of our inner landscapes and the embodied strength and wisdom contained within them.
This workshop explores the use of plant divination practices in dreaming up liberatory futures. We will work with Mugwort (Artemisia Vulgaris), a revered and ancient herbal medicine associated with the moon and used traditionally in dreaming practices. This workshop will involve a meditative visualization practice in which we envision the worlds our elder selves desire and dream to inhabit . We will then come together to create a collaborative tapestry using paint and plant material to map out these landscapes of our dreams and desires. This practice is intended to give shape to that most wise, most gentle guiding heart that lives within each of us.
For enrolment in our limited-capacity free workshop, please book your spot through the link in our bio or on the Pink Ember website.

In our third workshop, we invite you to reflect on grief, not through words or the mind, but through movement, where the body is intrigued and begins to express.
What if grief is not something to move on from, but something to stay curious with?
We invite you to come into the space with beautiful guidance from our beloved contemporary dancer, @feifei_curiosity . Born and raised in China and now based in Melbourne, her practice is grounded in Butoh and trance, shaped by lived experience and a deep inquiry into identity, memory, and belonging.
Through poetic and metaphorical movement, Feifei brings us together in this session to slow down, sense, and reconnect with our inner landscapes.
We would love you to know this is not a therapeutic session; however, dancing can be a healing experience.
For enrolment in our limited-capacity free workshop, please book your spot through the link in our bio or on the Pink Ember website.

Our second workshop was full of reflection, with each beautiful soul joining our community with an open heart and tender presence.
@dillings , with his calm and joyful manner, reminded us how to write a letter to a beloved one and reflect on love. He then invited us to create a paper together from all those letters, each filled with reflections on love.
Eventually, we created one beautiful piece together to capture the essence of love.
We would love to deeply thank our community members who shared that moment of love with us. We are especially grateful to have found each other in the beautiful and welcoming space of @pinkemberstudio .
Please keep an eye on our social media, as we will soon invite you to our third workshop, which will surprise you in so many ways!
