House Ur Head is back and she’s in her worst behaviour era. Sweaty, stupid, a little feral and not here to be well-adjusted.
Enter DADDY SQUAD, formerly one half of Monarchy and now fully unleashed in Madrid’s queer underground, co-founder of the cult party Yes, Bitch! and a certified agent of pure mayhem. He’s been leaving a trail of sweat across dancefloors from Paris to Berlin to Barcelona and beyond, serving slick, sleazy disco, italo and synth-drenched chaos that knows exactly what it’s doing.
His credits are stacked and a little obscene, from burlesque superstar Dita Von Teese to italo bears Hard Ton, house pioneers S’Express, Zoot Woman, Renato Cohen and Corine, with releases on Pets, Eskimo, Polari and Toy Tonics, plus his own AAA Battery imprint. And just in case that wasn’t enough, he’s written and produced for SIA, Charli XCX and Blondie, worked with Violet Chachki, and remixed Kylie, Kelis, Lady Gaga, OMD and Jamiroquai, because apparently behaving was never an option.
