God was laughing at me today during this DE filter clean. The last guy must have never actually cleaned it. Just backwash and recharge, for years. Half a tank of dirty DE, every grid broken/ripped, top manifold cracked after I put it all together. 2.5 hours after starting this filter clean I was finally finished.
