And also today I got genuine smiles from a grandma, a dog and three sisters — only moments apart — and these photos I know will be on walls and Christmas cards and they will look back on these happy moments when they need it most. 👵🏼🐶✨
And then I went home and got to relive all of these moments while I made a pizza and watched Christmas movies with my dogs. It is, in fact, a wonderful life. 🎄🍕

When my couple said “We love movies!” 🍿
And so we planned their engagement session at a movie theater so they could feature a giant print of one of their faves outside @theclaytheatre (their dream venue because, hello, very much perfectly on theme). *See slide 2!
And when I noted the reception tables didn’t have numbers — they had movie names — I immediately began collecting photo/posing inspiration from their list cult classic faves!

“My inspiration for the shoot was largely creating a tropical wedding design that wasn’t overly tropical. As much as I love plants, I didn’t want monstera leaves and bird of paradise throughout the florals. We chose an orange as our main focal color. I wanted to incorporate the orange from Life of a Showgirl as a nod to my love for Taylor Swift. This played perfectly into the modern tropical theme.” -Crysta Miller, Stelloccasions
