Lovestory of chekwbe&Chukwuemeka I first set my eyes on her via our mutual friend’s WhatsApp status back in 2019. I mustered up the courage to ask her out, but she didn’t accept my invitation at the time. In retrospect, I think she might have been preoccupied or distracted. Undeterred, I continued to show my interest in her and kept trying my luck. My efforts were relentless, and I even took a trip to Lagos for a church convention, hoping to meet her, but unfortunately, our schedules never aligned. I eventually decided to take a step back and give her space, but little did I know that fate had a different plan. On June 4th, 2025, she posted an update on her WhatsApp status, and I seized the opportunity to reach out. I sensed a different energy in her response, and she seemed more engaging than usual. Perhaps the distraction was gone, and she was ready to connect. I asked her out that same day, and to my delight, she accepted! We finally met in person after two months of officially dating, and it was like a match made in heaven. The chemistry was undeniable, and I knew I had found ‘the one. I proposed to her in August, and we got introduced to her family the same month. Fast forward to today, and we’re excited to embark on this new chapter in our lives as we prepare to walk down the aisle and get traditionally married. It’s been a journey, but it’s all worth it!
