Pile Press is an alternative publishing collective with a focus on local and limited edition print publications. We publish a bi-annual literary + arts journal featuring the works of women + non-binary creatives, as well as CHUNK, an Oregon centric lit + arts broadside paper. Cover Artist and previous Pile Press contributor, Kateri Koenig is a multimedia artist primarily focused on creating abstract characters with influences from cubism, expressionism, absurdism, and, most of all, outsider art. Her medium of choice is graphite on paper, but she also works with printmaking, textiles, pen and ink, and 3D sculpture.
