On this day in 1926, the 115th House of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. was chartered in Little Rock, Arkansas by eight extraordinary men. The Pi Lambda Chapter has been in service for 100 years as the first intercollegiate Black Greek Letter Organization in the State of Arkansas. Thanks to the vision of our Charter members: Carolina Franklin Brown; Arthur Berl Fox; Jefferson Gatherford Ish, Jr.; Dr. Jack Vernon Jordan ; Ucecil Seymour Maxwell; Dr. Carl Eugene Patillo; Attorney Marion Rowland Perry, Jr.; and Dr. Leroy E. Williams. The Pi Lambda Chapter looks forward to the days and years ahead to continue to serve Little Rock by providing Manly Deeds, Scholarship, and Love for All Mankind. #ΑΦΑ #PiLambda #CentennialYear
