Had the opportunity to play @faislebeau ‘s show at Brussels most iconic shack @kiosk.radio . Only knew 48h in advance so quite a spontaneous trip, but that’s what charms this one I’d say. 1h of retro grooves as you know it. Includes 5 blinds on which I will do some separate posting. Give it a listen and do reach out if you want ID information before that :)
⚠️ Some skip handling on the last slide - rest is chronological (made me skeptical about left player’s level so explains why I am checking on it here n there hehe)
Some more nerd info if you care:
Mostly NL/UK tech house, with a release date range of 1996-2003. Apart from a rare one with max price of €18, max price range is €5-€10, averaging around €8. Discogs Wants range is 17-187 averaging around 100. Haves range is 33-304 averaging around 130. Carefully digged straight from crates or Discogs :)
Thanks again @faislebeau for the trust, and shout out to your awesome efforts for @gayhaze.brussels .
Nice prod, slight poppy vocals including a touch of guitar and synth give it a fruitful spring vibe overall, perfect for the season :)

Honestly forgot a bit about this one, but what a slapper it is. Tight house production filled with this trance atmosphere overloading it with the right energy. Bit too much on the A-side imo, but B-side is the sweetspot. B2 here builds with a broken beat and synth/vocal risers, bringing it back once more but 4x4 (nice surprise impact) which is what you’re listening to here. B1 is a wicked club banger I also want to point out - you won’t regret giving it a listen.

Beauty of a track. The drum and bass piece on this versatile EP of The Noisemakers, also including downtempo, house and tech house. This LTJ Bukem type of atmosphere caught me right away. A splendid mix of synth, vocal and drums on healing frequencies. The sound one rarely encounters outdoors (or at least not in Amsterdam), although I would totally sign up for it. Got more wax like this, one of those niche corners of electronics that has a separate, but prominent spot on the shelf. Let me know what you think!

What a track. Super creative piece of house music with a zouky perc rhythm making it catchy, punchy and swingy all at once. Layers sound simple on itself, but work tremendously well together. Little information on the Dutch label Spark Records, but my guess would be around 1997.
Actually @ejaaje4ever uncovered the A2 two years ago already - salute. I stumbled upon it and was immediately sold by the A1. Give the EP a listen and let me know which one is your pick!
Groove Tube - Do What You Feel
???? - NL
Spark Records
Seems to be a promo only release. Cheap, mysterious, slightly obscure, and not on any radar - that’s how I like it. Superb piece of tech house, from a strong year and a strong but non-standard country in the space, Italy. I will dump the ID in my story somewhere in the upcoming weeks. For now you have to enjoy it here for a bit first.
As the name of the EP by Jay Diamond suggests this cool swinger on A1 really sets the mood. Funk infused house track with a catchy bass guitar along with synth stabs and hip hop / ghetto vocals giving the perfect mixture of funk and groove. A2 is also worth giving a listen, both really something I’d classify as just house to really get things going. Get it for as little as €1!

Spezial Music
Huge EP by Dutch producer duo Dennis Buné and Kenneth Doekie aka Jaimy & Kenny D aka Wanted. Top of the league producers with a long lasting career making so many great and diverse productions. Here we have a progressive house / trance 3-tracker where both A and B2 are very powerful tracks. DEA mix has a punchy kick rhythm accompanied with a hypnotic groove taking you out of here (playing -2 here). The Perjury mix is worth checking out, delivering pure club energy, which I also featured in my @vitamine.fm mix last summer, for those that were looking for it!
Still cheap now but limited copies..
Wanted - The Game (DEA Mix)

Finding ways to make these underground digs a bit more appealing (visually). Class house track from Dutch soil with a stompy groove, catchy chords, smooth waves and sexy vocals to top it off. Mid 90s production finding its well deserved return 30 years later… let me know what you think!
Party On Plastic - What’s Going On

Back at it again after some busy months and time off. Let’s get it going with a feel good Dutch club essential, sounding Dutch all the way. Club iT dancefloor killa! Rare one unfortunately..

Enjoying life for a bit which means less social media platformin and all that. Enjoy this tech VA which I will soon dump on YT as well for a full listen. Or buy in the meantime if you can’t wait (always a recommend) :)
Ivan Komlinovic - Blockbuster
Red Moon - Esther The Whore
Chris Rodriguez - Breeze
H-Bomb - Open Up (Original)
While this sounded super UK to me, we’re actually talking about trance-native and German Imre Corte at the controls of this prod. Sharp highs and 4x4 rhythm-oriented, but the detail is found in the electro layers synthesized by bass line, vocals and zappy elements, sprinkled with some guitar stabs as funky as disco dip on your ice cream. Comprehensive piece of house music! Bought for as low €0,49 and as high as €4, sounds like proper investment to me
