Thanks for finding us here. We wanted to introduce ourselves. Pie Ranch is an educational farm with love and justice among our core values. We are a learning center, and non-profit organization building healthy and just food systems.
Most folks know us for our farmstand located right on Highway 1 with delicious, local produce and pies. Our 27-acre organic farm is just behind, and open for self-guided tours!
The heart of the farm is our outdoor kitchen and gorgeous picnic meadow. We offer a variety of programs- creating seed to table shared meals, baking pies in community, and getting your hands dirty in the soil.
Our goal with programs is to connect folks to each other and the land - like our public offerings including workshops, seasonal crafts, yoga retreats and more. Every 3rd Saturday, we host our volunteer workday and barndance . The local caller and live band make all feel at home.
The Regenerator program is another aspect of the farm, hosted at Cascade Ranch just down the road. We provide land and resources to early-stage, climate friendly farmers committed to serving the community.

🌹 Our rose bed is in full bloom right now, aligning to the close of our @coastsidegvies superbloom campaign. Come visit our Farmstand this weekend, and walk-up towards the farm fields to smell some of these fragrant beauties.
Continuing our Dahlia Days Series: Come volunteer at Pie Ranch for a special Thursday morning. We will learn-by-doing - how to PLANT our dahlias.
All volunteers can take home tubers for their own gardens. We can gather in the meadow for a bring-your-own picnic to celebrate and connect.

Update 5/15: The Saturday May 16th Barn Dance will be held inside the Roadside Barn at our regular location due to strong winds. On June 20th, weather pending, we plan to host the dance outside in the meadow. Tickets still available and walk-ins welcome!

🥾 From 3-6pm, volunteers rotate between working in the Native Garden and Pie Ranch's Program Garden to connect with the land and each other. Register for your 3rd Saturday volunteer spot at link in bio.
🤠 From 6-9pm, we are gathering in the Pie Ranch Events Meadow to dance and celebrate community! A caller will lead us in dances accompanied by the HomePie String Band. Pre-registration is encouraged but not required for this event, day-of tickets are available at the event. Purchase your sliding scale ticket ahead of time at the link in bio.

🌱 Pie Ranch is situated on the unceded lands of the Quiroste Tribe. As there are no known living descendants of the Quiroste, the lands at Pie Ranch are tended in their honor.
🌿 Pie Ranch, the Amah Mutsun Tribal Band and Amah Mutsun Land Trust (AMTB/AMLT) have been in partnership since 2014 with the goal of bringing back traditional Indigenous land stewardship to these lands, welcoming all Indigenous peoples and allies to join us. The Amah Mutsun Tribal Council and @AmahMutsunLandTrust are currently directing their time and resources in their Mutsun territory further south near Gilroy and San Juan Bautista. We celebrate their land back efforts with the protection of Juristac, 2,284 acres in their ancestral homeland! We will continue to partner with the AMLT/AMTB however we can to support their efforts while taking care of the lands at Pie Ranch in honor of the Quiroste.
🍃 Pie Ranch is committed to continuing to be in solidarity with all Indigenous peoples and we are equally committed to teaching about the history and current stories of these lands along with native plant stewardship, demonstrating how to weave together traditional ecological stewardship with regenerative organic crop production.
