Meanwhile here’s a photograph of one of the special mornings I ever experienced in Africa.
Even after all those years in and around Amboseli lake, there’s still moments that bring me to a complete stand still. Moments so uniquely powerful they instantly pull me away from the viewfinder and leave me standing there, doing nothing but breathing it all in. This morning in November 2025 was one of them.
With my 2026 expedition to Kenya being fully booked, I just released 2027 dates. Let’s go and find these moments together! Link in bio.
Launching a new expedition: ICELAND! ❄️
After 5 years of hosting expeditions to Africa and Himalayas, I felt it’s time for something different. It is therefore with great pride that I launch a brand-new expedition in my portfolio, a 4x4 overland expedition that the heart of Iceland.
Dates: August 6-14, 2027.
We will hike on glaciers and volcanoes, soak in thermal hot springs, stay in the most incredible hotels, and traverse the entire core of Iceland in uniquely modified off-road Monster Jeeps. All while being guided by one of Iceland’s best adventure guides.
There’s no better way to experience this rugged island in the Atlantic.
I first set foot on Icelandic soil in 2016, in the early days of my journey as a photographer. In the decade that followed, I returned countless times, through storms, under the midnight sun, across aurora-lit nights, and while crossing those volcanic plains, I fell in love with the place. Soon after, my focus shifted mostly to Africa, but I’m feeling a call to return, with fresh eyes, and allowing an intimate group of people to join me.
A journey far beyond the crowded viewpoints, with unique access to places most travellers never get to see. The vehicles we use will bring us to places no one goes and I will guide you in creating your own intimate photographic portfolio about these uniquely special landscapes.
If you ever dreamt about going to Iceland, this is your call.

Together, we’ll work on uncovering your unique voice in a world overflowing with images and opinions, and I’ll support you in building your self-confidence as a storyteller, amplifying your perspective through the power of community.
We’ll dive into practical strategies for transforming ideas into business concepts with real longevity. Most importantly, I’ll encourage you to invest in becoming a better human first, because that growth will naturally make you a better photographer.

Here’s a some African blues seen and captured in the past years.
Wow… we did it. ♥️
After an intense month of campaigning, I’m sharing the final results of a month-long campaign for COIRÓN, my debut monograph.
We’ve closed at a staggering 153% funded, making it the most successful Kickstarter done in 15 years by my publisher @gost_books , both in total funds raised and number of backers.
Wild. The power of community is real.
As promised, every single backer will receive a unique book cover, recognizing them as foundational early believers in the work. The next 6 weeks we’ll finalize the design, before heading to print in Italy at the end of April. Whoop whoop! 🔥
If you missed the memo, ‘late pledging’ is still open via the link in bio. This means you can still join as an early backer and receive a signed copy with a unique cover.
THANKS! to everyone who liked & shared the work. I can’t wait to send this book into a lot of new homes around the world.
Here’s a kind reminder that I still have some last expedition seats available to join me to Africa and beyond in 2027/2028:
- 1 last seat to Serengeti, Tanzania in March 2027

Year of the Fire Horse let’s goooo 🔥 a once-every-60-years Lunar year of bold energy, movement, fearless pursuit and breakthrough. Sounds like the perfect year to bring my debut monograph COIRÓN into the world!
And I do have some crazy news to start with! COIRÓN will officially be made! Together we have crushed the first funding goal! But with 15 more days on the clock, every single pledge still counts, and therefore, I have just announced a Stretch Goal.
Now, I can hear you thinking, why still pledge when the goal has been met?
Well in all honesty, I’ve been very conservative in my goal setting, and although I’m incredibly thankful that the minimum funds required to produce the book have been met, there’s still so much more that additional support makes possible in the coming-to-life of this project! So again, I’m rallying the troops, to make this project even bigger and better.
As a thank you, I have just released some brand-new prints on the campaign page, and announced a big surprise when we hit our next & final goal.
Link in bio tells you all the details ❤️
Here’s a series of photographs of horses taken over the years in Chile.
It happens to be my birthday today 🎂 and what a coincidence that I just launched the pre-sale of my next book. So if you’re wondering what to get me 😉 pre-order a copy of: COIRÓN and make me incredibly happy!
Link in bio has the details.
Here’s my gift for you today, a series of random horse photographs from Patagonia made in between 2018-2026. Just 2 of these 11 images made it into the book, can you guess which two?
With the campaign for my upcoming book in full motion, I want to highlight 3 special ways for you to support the work. Support that goes beyond purchasing a book or a print but that will ultimately benefit the project.
For the first time ever, I am offering Portrait Sittings. This means, you pledge for a 3hr long photography session in which I photograph you, in an epic daylight studio or outdoors, and in the end, I deliver an incredible set of images to you.
Secondly, I am offering 1,5hr long Mentorship Sessions (online or in-person) for the price of a regular Mentorship Session, but this time with a signed copy of my upcoming book included. So, for those who considered booking one, this is your call, as you essentially get a book for free.
Lastly, as the most exclusive reward in this campaign, and interesting for companies or institutions, you can book me as a speaker or lecturer. The lecture can focus on the power of hope, on making impact, inspiration & creativity, community & belonging, or photographic story-telling, with room to tailor the conversation to your audience. With this reward you get 20 books.
Three ways to support the project, while getting significant return in the form of various means of story-telling.

It’s with great pride that I present to you: COIRÓN, my debut monograph.
The past 6 years of working on this story have been a rollercoaster of self-doubt, growth, patience, humility, and ultimately self-discovery. Never before have I put so much feeling, time, devotion and personal savings into one project. But all of that made this journey hands-down the most thoughtful, awake and inspiring period of my photographic life.
COIRÓN is a story about a dwindling group of men known as ‘puesteros’, Chilean ranch workers who live in isolated cabins, managing livestock on remote ranches, while being employed by ranch owners. Their interweaving stories reveal an intimate portrait of men living at the edge of the world, pushing through because they must. A meditation on stillness, human resilience and the inevitable passing of time.
In the next 29 days, starting today, I will be running a Kickstarter campaign, to fund the printing, production and shipping of the book.
I won’t go into too much depth here, that’s why I’ve built an entire page that talks about the project, shows the work, and explains why I choose for Kickstarter.
I hope I can count on your support, together we can do this!
