Joyful moments unfolded between families, performers, and community, all brought together through creativity and curiosity. We’re so grateful to @dragartslab , the incredible performers @pickledragqueen @wowiridessa and @iamqueenangelina , and everyone who helped bring this vibrant, imaginative experience to life. Your energy, talent, and care made the day truly unforgettable. MAY 2nd! @dca_taxcotheatre in Canoga Park! We're doing "Natural HERstory," our fabulous family event celebrating natural history. Face painting, DJ the Natural History Museum pop up, crafts and a performance of our original show! COMPLETELY FREE RSVP to link in @dragartslab bio to reserve a spot! Today we put on a 100% free experience for kids and families--facepainting, crafts, vinyl DJ and a completely original drag musical about natural science (the @nhmla team even brought a trex tooth for their table!!!!). These programs take a lot of work but it's rewarding to give kids the opportunity to connect positive experiences with drag with content that is truly for them. Thank you @annenbergcommunitybeachhouse and @cityofsantamonica for your support and for hosting us at your beautiful space (I love love the beachhouse and the people who run it!) We are relying on word of mouth for outreach so PLEASE if you came and enjoyed yourselves or if you didn't but appreciate the work we do for youth, tell your friends--we'll be doing the exact same program at @dca_taxcotheatre in Canoga Park on May 2nd and we want people to come and take advantage of this free experience. Our goal is to bring this program to more communities and ESPECIALLY to communities who need more programming. Sadly, though I have lots of help, I am one human with only two arms and one brain and limited capacity for social media and PR! Maybe one day they'll give me robot arms but until then please share and support us!
