HAPPY RELEASE DAY! We are thrilled to finally bring you our new album, Dandelion, a record four years in the making and very dear to our hearts. ‘Dandelion’ is an album that explores the human experience of bearing multiple truths and opposing emotions simultaneously. Loving while letting go, feeling wounded yet brave, isolated yet deeply connected, seeking change and stability in the same breath and preserving hope amid sadness. It explores how we exist in the space between these opposing feelings while calling for resilience and a deep courage to see that growth is possible and inherently beautiful even in life’s most difficult experiences. We were very lucky to be able to collaborate with some amazing musicians on this record. Thank you to @mabefs , Introverted Dancefloor, @leoaldrey , @animalparty_assassinbug , @orekusound , and @astrolope ! Thank you to David Psutka and @halocline_trance for releasing the record and all the support they’ve given us every step of the way. Illustration by @marinaterauds Mixed with visuals by @pickapiper This song (as a few on the album do) dates back to an idea I made on a flight. It sat dormant for 6 years before I rescued it from extinction and got Sophia to add some vocals to it and we finally fleshed out the tune together. It is very much influenced by shoegaze and post-rock music, by artists like Explosions in the Sky, My Bloody Valentine and Mogwai. I wanted to mash those aesthetics with contemporary beats and electronics and am very happy with the results! We hope you like it too!!
