“You’re cleared for s*ggs and exercise. See you when you’re pregnant again.” -Traditional Healthcare And that’s.. it. After months of appointments focused almost entirely on baby, mom gets about four minutes of attention and a thumbs up on her way out the door. But if mom isn’t doing okay, nobody is doing okay. So many women are quietly dealing with leaking, pain, pressure, prolapse, painful s*ggs and pelvic discomfort years after having babies and they’ve been told it’s just part of being a woman or having kids. It’s not. And there’s help. Pelvic floor therapy exists for exactly this. And you don’t have to be freshly postpartum to benefit. It’s never too late. If this resonates, share it with a mom in your life who deserves to know. 💙
