Wow it’s been a few days so I could gather my emotions . I’m very shy when not on stage lol - I am beyond blessed and grateful for this award 🥇 !! Being given by some of my biggest mentors and more who couldn’t attend ❤️🙏🙏 !! I still remember being a little teen girl starting out in the club and battle scene , and seems like yesterday created Phunk phenomenon but wow it’s been decades !!! I must really love this culture because time has flown !! Thank you all for this recognition i humbly accept . My heart has always been a saver of souls and Dance has allowed me to help many including myself . I love the true culture the people who paved the roads we could walk on . I want to thank all of my mentors and teachers and the hundreds of dancers who have trusted me with there dance training and management . Every show and event big or small holds a part in my heart . It has not been easy esp dealing with a child who’s terminally I’ll and being a mom and wife . Many have spit on my name but I don’t hold that I know it’s all a matter of time til they see the truth and realize the bigger reason we all do this . I have never put myself first , once I decided to really do this studio thing I hung up me personal industry Carreer and poured myself into others . So many like tron and Keebler said have gone on to the big time and are major heavy hitters on the scene and dance world . I never took credit I just know I was one guiding light or a very good step for them . Getting older and still being here is also a challenge being how the times have changed w internet and many other factors but the raw realness is still alive and well so I continue to train and teach as long as my body and God will allow .
