At @opm.bkk , Phu’s (@phulosophy ) path behind the bar wasn’t the obvious one. A former medical student, he traded textbooks for tinctures—but kept the same curiosity for how things work.
For him, cocktails sit at the intersection of science and service: precision, balance, and technique on one hand; hospitality, connection, and care on the other. Every drink is a small experiment, built not just to taste good, but to make someone feel something.

Before the SIP: The Mystery Card of “Kosuke”
Back when I had to decide on my main spirit for the first round, Feeling a bit lost on what to choose (as we have 7choices..) , Then..I stumbled upon a mysterious business card for @kosuke.endoh at Opium bar (my workplace which..he never visit, someone just accidentally drop his card there)
…Eh..I didn’t even know who he was at the time, but I kept it as a lucky charm. Look how the card look like after 4-6months
That card led me to choose Ki No Bi as my base spirit. I carried it with me for almost half a year, and then, when I finally got a ticket to the House of Ki No Bi, a man introduced himself: “My name is Kosuke Endoh, Operations Manager of the Kyoto Distillery.”
I was like... “Fxckkkk..No way... it’s him! And he’s not an old uncle??”
So cool and so young, bro.
I’ve already shared this story and drinks(a lot)with him, but I wanted to share it here too.
Sometimes life just drops some SSR inspiration and coincidences on you. So glad to have met him and the whole team!
Ps.My phone has been broken for the last two days, but I’ll post more soon.
/Love, Phu
