So a few months back, me and my wife attended Encounter night..It’s basically a deeper dive into Sunday’s service, on a Wednesday evening…While I was there, I felt something move me to pray for a dear friend of mine, who was sooooo giving to everyone, and never asked for anything in return…My heart was heavy and needed to pray that he would be ok..So we walked up to prayer, and my boy @shmeezy_ was waiting for me, arms wide open…I asked my wife to stand to the side of us so I can get in there and pray hardddd with my boy..We got together like two rams in battle, heads down, arms around each other, like I was at Twilo and Danny Tenaglia just played elements, one of us was gonna tear a tendon or ligament type prayer…I’m in the zone like Tommy Cutlets fighting for his life on a Meadowlands Sunday…When we’re done, about 3 minutes later, I turn to grab my wife and she’s on her knees with a mom and like 3 kids…I let her finish and when she gets up I’m like what just happened?? She’s like I was standing here waiting for you and this lady came up and grabbed me and said please pray for us, thinking my wife was on the prayer team..So like the insanely amazing person she is, she just went with it..We saw the family a few weeks later and my wife prayed with them again…This past Sunday, the girl with terminal cancer, in her neck, got baptized and is cancer free…Call it what you want, but god put my wife there for a reason…I don’t care if you are a believer or not, cuz I’m still like no way, but let me tell you something, that was too real to not believe in this miracle…The power of prayer is real, it’s not something you do to have God be a genie for you, it’s a moment to connect with him, unfiltered, and hand him concerns, and let him guide you…This moment feels like a Super Bowl win to me, that God gave this girl another chance at life because she believed…He sent my wife to me, to help guide me, and he put her in those people’s lives, to give them purpose and hope, and God delivered… Amen @gojourneychurch@goscottbaugh
Had the honor to be Milton’s buddy last night at Tim Tebow’s Time to Shine … It was a night to see everyone dancing and celebrating without a care in the world… Thank you Milton for letting me be your buddy for the night, even though my back is wrecked from getting low low low low low with Flo’rida…
Thank you @gojourneychurch for the amazing event and @timtebow for creating an amazing experience…
Gratitude…It is not about your political belief, nor is it about your religion or choices you make in life that others do not agree with…It is about taking a moment within yourself, to appreciate all you have…Success is not driven by your bank account or material items, it is, to me, looking around you and identifying the things you did, the crippling anxiety you have been through, the depression, the insecurity, the darkest times you never share with anyone, and saying, you can no longer put weight on my shoulders anymore, your voice is a whisper to me, and I am grateful for all that I have been through, to get me to where I am supposed to be…No politician, no religion, no disagreeing, because they cannot take your life’s journey, and tell you what you were supposed to do…Gratitude is within you and something that when you look for it, it breaks those chains, it gives you the energy, the people and the power to wake up looking forward of who you will become, not who you used to be…We are all children of a higher power, I hope one day we can all live with gratitude, so our kids can make this world a better, peaceful, liveable without judgement, place to exist in…16,999 voices in that crowd and hearing my wife’s was what I was the most grateful for…
Four years ago today, I asked a question that forever changed my life…With that question brought me a life partner, a wife, a friend, a mother, a daughter and eternal happiness I was searching for but could never find…God had a plan for me and it was to meet you at a party on my rooftop 14 years ago..A special thanks to my brother from another mother @2esae for the amazing mural and to our family and friends who supported us on this journey…Life was different 4 years ago and we wondered how it would all pan out and it turned out exactly how we envisioned it and prayed for, perfect!! I know an engagement anniversary seems weird but it was a day that forever will be special to me…
