Multi-instrumentalist Louis Cato, who has toured with Marcus Miller and other jazz legends, is now the new band leader of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Cato has also performed or recorded with Snarky Puppy, George Duke, A Tribe Called Quest, Bobby McFerrin, John Scofield, Talib Kweli, and Mariah Carey, among many others.
The Barr Brothers graced Wolf Trap tonight for the first time, treating us to a few new songs off Let it Hiss, along with many classics, and a moving rendition of Stand By Me that had the crowd singing in a few hundred parts harmony. Intimately majestic!
