Symmetry, I don't know what to say except - THANK YOU.
Thank you for believing in our team, for bringing all your energy and love, for injecting a part of yourselves into this experiment with us.
It's one thing to have a vision and a plan, but it's another entirely to see it not only come to life, but exceed all expectations by a mile. Every part of Symmetry received a level-up this year, from the lineup, to the production, to the experiences and interactivity, the art, the lighting, and all the secret experiences like the scavenger hunt and late-night b2bs.
Above all, this weekend was a testament to the power of community. Symmetry is only possible because of so many people coming together with a set of shared values and a unified vision. Every single one of you - whether you were an attendee, a flow artist, a volunteer or staff member, a food vendor, a DJ - played a part in creating this with us. Many, many individual acts of love and intention coming together all at once in the middle of the Iowa farmlands.
For those who were able to join my talk 'The Butterfly Effect' with
@joenicedj on Friday, you'll remember how we spoke about the connections between us as individuals and our community - how we are not separate, but inextricably linked to each other. Symmetry is more than just an excuse to have our bones rattled by bass music, it's an opportunity to learn from each other, have lasting impacts, and create unforgettable memories that we take forward back into our normal everyday lives.
As many of you know, the team behind Symmetry are all music lovers and festival attendees. We do this because we LOVE this shit more than anything. There is nothing more important to us than the attendee experience. In the coming days, we'll be sending out feedback surveys to all attendees, staff and vendors, where you guys can tell us about their experience, highlight what you liked best, give us thoughts on where we can improve, so we can build an even stronger foundation going into 2026.
I have so much more I want to say, but for now, take a look back with me and re-experience some of the best moments of Symmetry ~
