Our sweet angel Kaya has crossed the rainbow bridge. She was the best girl (in the world). And we will miss her dearly. She loved swimming, chasing rabbits, chewing large branches, and eating anything considered remotely edible. She loved the beach, but was afraid of the ocean, and was also an expert cuddler. I’m grateful for all the laughter, and joy she gave us these last 15 years. And I hope whatever dimension she’s in now that she’s with Mom, eating cheese 💗

Today is my last day at the New York Reserve Roastery. For more than six years this has been my home. I’m proud to have been a part of the original team, we built what this space is on our shoulders. And I’m extremely proud of the team who brings that original vision to life everyday. Right now my excitement for what’s next is tinged with nostalgia for what has passed. Thank you to everyone who mentored me, and allowed me to grow in their presence, and thank you for all of the support I received throughout these past six, and a half years. As I move forward, I hope you do too. It’s okay to be afraid of taking your next step, as long as you do take it. It will be in the right direction, and if not, you’ll know how to turn yourself around. I hope my next chapter is also yours, and may it be filled with friendship, growth, and love. I have nothing but pure love for my Roastery family. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart, for giving me such a life changing opportunity. I’ll miss you all deeply.
