Matsuri Matsuri
Soon the summer heat will be back in Tokyo. But that means the festival season starts too.
One more month until the streets of Asakusa are packed with happy people again!
It will be my fourth season here in Japan, and the time around May/June still feels special to me. Back in 2023, it completely changed my style of photography,moving away from a typical hobby style and into documentary and street photography, especially portrait work.

Last week I went to Top Beat Club to support my friends The Scrawnies and took some photos there.
Daddy Long Legs from NYC were the main act that night. First time seeing them live and damn… crazy energy. Been listening to their record nonstop since then.
Great show. Hope you like the pictures.
