Internationally acclaimed conductor Paolo Bortolameolli has been named our next Virginia G. Piper Music Director following a three-year international search.
Praised by the Los Angeles Times for his “crisp, dynamic” conducting, Paolo is recognized around the world for his energy, artistry, and passion for connecting people through music.
He’ll join us as Music Director Designate in the 2026–27 season, leading five programs and opening the season before officially stepping into the role in 2027–28.
