27 vs 42 💥 Today I turn 42 — and honestly, I feel younger, faster, and stronger than ever. At 27, I barely knew what cardio was. A few years later I found obstacle course racing, and everything changed. Since then I’ve built a lifestyle around movement — running, climbing, lifting, HIIT, cycling — all fueled by a plant-based diet. 🌱 This year I hit a new marathon PB, proving it’s never too late to get fitter, healthier, and faster. You have the power to transform your life at any age. 💯 Health is wealth — and according to my @whoop , my body thinks I’m still 27.7 😉 Stay healthy, stay consistent, and never slow down. 🫶 #FitnessOver40 #BirthdayStrong #AgeIsJustANumber #PlantBasedAthlete #FitOver40 #OCRTraining #NeverTooLate #FitnessMotivation #Whoop #RunnersOfInstagram #FYP #StrongerWithAge #HealthIsWealth

Europes Toughest Mudder 12h Ultra OCR-🏆🥇 As I stood on the start line amongst previous ETM champs and OCR hard hitters I felt excited, nervous and hopeful all at the same time. The hype was real!. We counted down from 25.. I just wanted the race to start so I could unleash after three days of rest. My strategy was to run hard for an hour while all the obstacles were closed to create a gap and hopefully get two whole 8K laps in without getting wet before pitting to get the swim suite on. It worked out almost perfectly. With Becky in my corner transitions were fast. On the second lap Blockness had just opened up as I ran towards my first water obstacle. Soon after Becky helped me change into my shorty. My biggest fear in this race was getting cold. So I kept moving. Even jogging while eating/drinking through transitions. As the night went on I added a neoprene hat and sleeves. At no point during the race did I stop. The mental games play a huge roll in success when you’re racing for 12 hours in the night. Sometimes the biggest battle is not with others but with your own mind. Constantly pushing those negatives thoughts away as they try to creep in with the fatigue and sleep deprivation. One lap at a time I told myself..”It’s only 8Km until I see @therunnerbeanuk again with food” As the race went on the gap between myself and second place @thatguygrantthompson and @walshy4972 in third had grown. But in an ultra things can change quickly even with a big lead. Cramp and cold can end a race quickly. I knew I had to keep pushing the pace until that 11th lap when I was told the others could not make another lap within the cut off time. Standing on the start line nearly a week ago I never expected to run such a perfect race or win by the margin I did. It’s a dream come true to be Europes Toughest Mudder Champion and I’m so grateful to all the Marshalls out on course throughout the night. Thanks also to @sean_runs_trails for keeping me honest on that sprint lap and to @thatguygrantthompson and @walshy4972 for never letting up. Also to my no1 Becky. I really couldn’t have done it without you!

When is the best time to start training again after the Marathon? With some big races on the horizon it’s back to business. Okay, maybe I’ll take it a bit easier this week🙄🤷‍♂️ #BusinessAsUsual #MarathonBlues #NoRestForTheWicked #BadDecisions

2:32:54 today at the London Marathon. I went out hard, probably a little too quick and just couldn’t hold the pace. Halfway in 1:14:21 (my second fastest half ever), but the last 12K was a blur and I was hanging on. Maybe I need to trust myself to start a little easier and aim for an even split next time. Still, it’s my second fastest marathon ever, and I’m really grateful for all the sessions from @running_dean_89 London always delivers! incredible support and so many cheers all the way round. Sorry if I wasn’t engaging… I was in another world by 30K. A nice bonus to see the results after: 31st in the 40–44 age category, which is an even better placing than last year. And 3:36 per km for every year of my life. Boom! Best part of the day was tracking Becky at the finish and seeing her smash her sub-3 goal with a negative split. I might need to take some tips from the boss. Bad news… I ran another championship time, so you’ll all have to hear this hype again next year. Always trying to be better than yesterday. Well done to everyone out there today, marathons are brutal. #LondonMarathon #HistoryWasMade #ChasingPBs #AllOrNothing #SpecialDay

T-24 hours until the London Marathon 🇬🇧🏃‍♂️ Another year, another start line, another chance to find out what’s possible. Last April I ran 2:32:04. In November I ran 2:34 in Larnaca. Since then it’s been a new chapter: a new coach @running_dean_89 , a smarter block, consistent blood work @thrivahealth , properly tracking recovery @whoop , and a lot of very good food. The base was built all last year at 100km weeks, with this block peaking at 125km. Last month I ran a half marathon PB which tells me the shape is there. So now it comes down to execution. The target is clear: first beat 2:32:04. The dream is sub-2:30. That will take patience, discipline, and 42.2km of commitment on the perfect day. No guarantees in the marathon. That’s why we love it. See you on the streets of London. 🇬🇧🔥 #LondonMarathon #MarathonTraining #Sub230 #EatPastaToRunFasta #RunningJourney

PB smashed at Brentwood Half Marathon 🏃‍♂️🔥 1:13:48 on an undulating course around my local town. Definitely wasn’t an easy one! Didn’t expect it at all, but came away with the Vets win too! 🏆 Adam disappeared into the distance early on, while I did what I do best… flew the downhills 😅 Big run from Thomas Beedell taking third as well 🙌 Haven’t seen full results yet but I think that puts me around 8th overall with the vets win. Special moment hearing my name called straight after the main awards and getting to meet @eddiehearn was a nice bonus 👊 Massive thanks to everyone out on the course, so many familiar faces and shoutouts ❤️ It genuinely kept me pushing when it got tough. Next up… maybe a cheeky Spartan race before London Marathon in April 👀 Things are looking good😊 #BrentwoodHalf #Matchroom #HalfMarathon #PB #PlantBasedAthlete

Some results were exactly what I trained for. Others… not so much. No regrets, every single race played a part in my journey to create as many great memories as possible with lots of beautiful people. If last year was anything to go by, it’s going to be another busy one!. As I start planning this year the focus will be on the longer distances. Maybe this time with clearer intent, better timing, and a little more rest between the big races.
Just turning experience into execution. Let’s see what 2026 brings 👊🔥 #RaceSeason #OCR #EnduranceAthlete #Podium #Consistency
