The 2026 Blood, Sweat & Gears Metric Moto Show is coming, Sunday August 9th - Riverbank Park Westbrook, Maine. 10a-2p. Last year was a huge success, over 200 registered motorcycles, well over 400 visitors, live music by Kevin Ward, great food trucks, raffle, t-shirts, and all proceeds go directly to our students in the trades scholarship fund. #scholarship
Vespa and scooter friends, if you’re unaware Maine has a Vespa club, and they are some wicked cool peeps! In June of this year they are hosting a weekend event called the Maine Lobster Roll Rally, Vespa people from all around New England will be flocking to OOB. Winter Storage:
We have limited space available, we are keeping our price the same as last year. $375 storage runs from Saturday November 1st - Saturday May 2nd. The fee includes, battery tending, fuel stabilizer added to the tank, carburetors drained, a conventional oil change additional fee apply for synthetic oil, and of course you get priority on any other services needed or wanted during the winter so that your bike is ready for springtime enjoyment. A $100 deposit will hold your spot. The balance is due in the spring time when you pick up the bike, any additional service work done, needs to be paid for at the time of service. Please call the shop if you want to reserve a spot today .

That’s a wrap! The 2025 Blood, Sweat & Gears Metric Moto Show was a hit. This year we saw more unique motorcycles and scooters than ever before. We had a huge turn out, well over 200 bikes, and countless spectators. Thank you all for participating, because of you, we were able an additional $4000 towards the 2026 Students in the trades scholarship. This was huge, we will be able to help more young adults achieve their dreams. @MelissaSamson was taking photos of all the bikes, scooters and fans and we will be making all the photos available via a link in the coming days, keep an eye out.

One week from today, we will all be gathering at the beautiful Riverbank Park in Westbrook, Maine for the 2025 blood sweat and gears metric motorcycle show. This year we will be celebrating all of the wonderful motorcycles from Japan, Europe, the United Kingdom and other non-North American branded, motorcycles and scooters. The purpose of the blood sweat and gears Moto show is to build a community focused on motorcycles and helping the community support a scholarship fund for students of the trades, each year we award anywhere between four and eight students a scholarship to help them pursue a career in a trades field, hoping that they will stick in Maine and fill the massive void that we have for trades people. This past year we were able to award 8 wonderful students from around Southern Maine scholarships so they can see their dreams of reaching career goals in the medical, Automotive , criminal justice, electrician, plumbing, and videography fields. We are so incredibly happy that we are able to help these students take the next step and we hope that all of the participants in the show and the visitors of the show will help support by purchasing raffle tickets and T-shirts as each dollar that is raised goes directly into the fund for the Scholarships. Please make the trip Sunday, August 10 from 10 AM to 2 PM to the Riverbank Park ride your motorcycle or scooter down, registration is free. Visitors are welcome to come. We’ll have food trucks live music and of course our awesome T-shirts and raffle we hope to see you all there.
