It was nice to have one more day of snow in Rotterdam this year, shame it only lasted one evening but I'm so grateful I had no plans so I could just take a walk out in the city for an hour or two

‚ärger ärger ärger // vergessen‘ (engl.: anger anger anger // forgotten) performance by @sickschnitzl The performance is based on the persistence of understanding trees and plants not only as passive elements exposed to the biological cycle of light, darkness, earth and water, but as beings with their own form of perception and knowledge. At the same time it questions what we have lost, both individually and collectively. Perhaps in the subconscious, perhaps in memories that are superimposed. Perhaps it is about forgetting or more, about rediscovering how we could live.

I decided to go to @dutchdesignweek and shoot some public portraits for fun! Trying to mimic the work of Shoichi Aoki of Fruits magazine from the 90's

Last Friday I photographed an event for some friends: @fleurflipse , @em_claridge , @robinvanleijsen and @blauhime , four artists showing at @oud.house in Rotterdam West for the @art_rotterdam weekend. It was a crazy-fun night! For such a small show, the artists had a unique vibe that felt so coherent all together. The space was really cute, too, on the corner of Visserijplein market. The little cut-off square corner was the perfect hangout spot on Saturday when the sun was shining. The artwork was cool and captivating, no pretense, just talent; performances were spectacular, and the music was beyond words, shout out to @d00b0p ! Just insane how well everything gelled... like in Fleur's performance, the music selection was mind-blowingly perfect for the visual situation.
