PT. Bhakti Karya Mandiri, known for its expertise in heavy equipment and machinery projects, showcases innovation in its new four-story Pontianak office. The building’s design features interlocking rectangular volumes, creating terraces and green spaces, while promoting cross-ventilation and natural light. Elevated on pilotis, the structure offers a welcoming entrance. Its exposed concrete facade with vertical louvers provides shading and emphasizes verticality, complemented by a geometrically patterned glazed curtain wall that adds texture and reveals open interiors.

Reflecting the company’s profile, this innovative spirit is embodied in their new four-story office building in Pontianak. The building mass is composed of interlocking rectangular volumes of varying heights and depths. This articulation creates recessed upper terraces and usable green spaces,
while enhancing cross-ventilation and natural light throughout the structure.
Elevated on pilotis, the design activates the ground plane, creating a welcoming arrival experience. The facade, constructed primarily of exposed concrete, features prominent vertical louvers that create a rhythmic pattern—emphasizing height while providing passive shading. While the glazed curtain wall, composed of a grid of geometrically patterned panels, serves as a defining feature, adding texture and depth while offering glimpses into the open interior.
