New bar team from @ninelivesbar and new 360 sound system in the cinema from @polygon.live
Last night in the cinema I lay back in a big comfy chair, slipped on an eye mask, and listened to the whole of Jeff Buckley's album Grace — all 360° of it! every breath and tremor, moving around the room... amazing.. more events and experiences to be announced.. Check out @polygon.live for details.
I then went upstairs to the first floor to see what @ninelivesbar are pouring at the new bar — fresh menu, fresh paint job, fresh faces, plants thriving, Negronis and great music and company….
So to all Members — the building is open and the programme is loaded. Come and have a wander.

The Ugly Duckling annual suit reveal Xmas lunch @quovadissoho For the past 4 years @joel_peter_levack my co-founder @allisjoysoho and I have commissioned @whitleylondon to make us a suit. The 1st year was pewter, 2nd emerald green, 3rd cream and this 4th year a magnificent rust. All corduroy 3 piece and magnificent.. we drank a porn star martini and giggled as one does in each others naughty company. Hoorah!!
Busy week and then my birthday. (Thanks for the messages. Yes I am alive.). Some pics. Went to gigs, Raves, old school friends reunion, college chums, Camden ‘90’s alumni, work people.. so many hello’s. Did a podcast and lectures. @allisjoysoho we hosted seminars and parties. I saw the band Swans (twice). and a Cure tribute band both fronted by old friends. Mainly I got to (at long last) hang out with my amazing son. He is the best. We had a right silly time. Also Raise The Lasers!!!!
That was joyous. I Got invited to LA as one of the last minute surprise roll of honour guest day riders to support the @fireflieswest 2025 ride from San Francisco to LA. We met them as they peddled south and escorted them home. They have been raising money for @cityofhope This year over $600k raised to help #fuckcancer. Thanks all you beautiful people. So good to ride with you!! Allez Fireflies.
