As someone who struggles to see the appeal of running, rarely enjoys doing it and always hurts the day after, I seem to do it a fair bit and was disappointed to have to defer the London marathon this year - the result of an injury sustained by the holy trinity of doom scrolling, an icy road and trainers with no grip. However as @daddydarkrdc says “if you can’t run, you must cheer”. So last weekend was a good one.
London Marathon is special and makes you proud to be a Londoner.
Congratulations to all the runners that put in the time and the people who lined the streets to cheer dem.
Rumours of up to 500,000 people for the largest anti far right rally in London with public day rave in Trafalgar Square.

Snowboarding is a treat, doing it with a crew of friends is a rare one.
@welooksideways turns 50 (not for a few months as it turns out) so made it happen.
We might not be as agile or bouncy as we once were but we all got home on our own feet.
Shout to @aligtv and @thenegativelypositive for almost 4 decades of shred.
Went to Austria for a morning of split boarding an hour outside Salzburg. Was treated to glorious weather, made new friends, got stuck in a filled in stream and hurt an already shady knee - Loved every second of it.
Thank you @patagoniaeurope for the trip @spin_trading_ltd for the new Burton boots and Snowboarding for being snowboarding.
Took a flying visit to Berlin for the night, went for a morning run and came across this beauty on the river.
Apparently it’s the scientific service centre of the German Parliament and called Marie-Elisabeth-Lüders House
