My photo project “One Year, One Hour, One Lens.” The beauty of this photo walk beyond the colors, the winding up of a day, is having the freedom to go left, right, stop, wait, walk. People are important but not the reason for a picture, it’s the dangling lights, scaffolding and the glow of the #wellsfargobank sign in the background. This picture for me is about compromise, this is why I hesitated to post. Another frame had a cyclist, another a bus and another a coat or red truck. Maybe there is a life lesson here, to learn patience, to appreciate what you do have or get, and when something does work, keep walking or just wait. Yelling Taxi Drivers “One Year, One Hour, One Lens.” Turns out the guy looking for a ride at right side of frame near passenger door did not follow protocol, when he jumped into the cab at the end of the line. So the cabbie at left let him know an error was made. I thought I had a birds eye view for a throw down between the two drivers as they told each other where to go and what to do to themselves.
