One week ago on May Day, over 5,000 workers came together to ratify the Working People’s Vision for Philadelphia — a vision for a better, more equitable, and more just city. Now, it is time to fight to make that vision a reality.

Union Experience Fairs (UEF) offer us the chance to empower students and our communities by connecting them with union leaders who can inspire, educate, and increase their access to union careers. This innovative opportunity allows us to connect with K-12 students and community members across Philadelphia to explore pathways to family-sustaining union careers. UEF features representatives from various unions in the building and construction trades, public, and private sectors in various industries.

The Shubert Organization had it comin’ 🎶🪧 Tonight, we’re joining our @local_77274_afm siblings on the picket line outside of the Forrest Theatre for Chicago’s opening night. Forrest Theatre and its owner, the Shubert Organization, fired 100% of the union musicians they originally hired for the musical’s Philly run. Philly is a union town and tonight we’re making sure the Shubert Organization knows that union-busting doesn’t fly here. When Philly supports Broadway, Broadway better support Philly ✊
