Met trots delen wij dat ‘House of Hope’ de Best Feature Documentary award heeft gewonnen tijdens @hotdocs_ in Toronto. Als grootste documentairefestival van Noord-Amerika is dit een enorme erkenning voor de maatschappelijke impact van de film. Een extra bijzondere winst, gezien de film actueler en urgenter is dan ooit. Regisseur Marjolein Busstra was in Canada om de prijs in ontvangst te nemen, ook namens de Palestijnse Manar en Milad.
Door het winnen van deze hoofdprijs is de film nu officieel ‘Oscar-qualified’. Dit opent de weg naar een nominatie voor de Academy Awards. Gefeliciteerd aan het hele team met dit internationale succes 🏆💛
