5 Tips Every Novice Rower Should Know
Narrated by: Coach Noah, PCR Head Novice Coach
Starring: Gritty 🧡 The 2026 Gritty Calendar was announced today, and a group of PCR coaches, alumni, and student-athletes had the chance to row with Gritty during his Boathouse Row photo shoot. It was an amazing opportunity, and he was such a great rower that we used a few moments from that morning as examples in this video. Thank you to Gritty, the Flyers team, and the Schuylkill Navy for including us! You can now buy the calendar by visiting the link in our bio! 📆

Thank you to everyone who helped make the Philadelphia Indoor Classic Presented by Rothman Orthopaedics an unforgettable success! Today, over 300 rowers, spectators, volunteers, and PCR supporters came together to race, cheer each other on, and celebrate the sport we all love. It was also amazing to see so many middle and high schoolers from Philadelphia, Baltimore, and New Jersey take on their first erg race together. A special thank you to Olympic gold medalist Justin Best for stopping by to support the athletes and share a moment of inspiration. This event wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication of our incredible community. Thank you to everyone who helped bring it to life. Stay tuned for more photos and race results! #PhillyIndoorClassic @rothmanortho

What a way to close out the 2026 spring season! The PCR student-athletes delivered an outstanding performance at the Stotesbury Cup Regatta this weekend. Our Boys Junior 2x made program history, earning PCR’s FIRST-EVER STOTESBURY MEDAL with a bronze-medal finish. 🥉 Our Girls Senior 8+, Senior 4x, and Junior 2x also rose to the occasion, each qualifying for semi-finals in their respective events. None of this would be possible without the incredible community behind our student-athletes. Thank you to the volunteers, coaches, family members, friends, and PCR supporters who made this season one to remember. Now, onto summer rowing! ☀️ 📸: @flyinglobster
